Little Magic Garden is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm.
Special Needs
Little Magic Garden welcomes children with special needs and we will do our best to assist families in seeking referrals and securing services through the state if needed. The staff of Little Magic Garden do not have the proper qualifications to diagnose, however they will work alongside the families as a support system.
Our Philosophy
Little Magic Garden is a licensed childcare center that celebrates diversity. We believe that each child is unique and has special interests. Each child has abilities that must be valued and respected. Respecting the child includes having a sensitive, flexible, and knowledgeable staff that is committed to helping each child reach his/her potent in self expression. We believe that when the children are respected they learn to respect themselves and others thus making the child feel good about themselves. Finally, we are convinced that if children are to grow into productive, happy adults they need time to run, play, swing, and just be a KID!
Curriculum
Little Magic Garden offers a thematic based curriculum that offers flexible lesson plans, routines, activities, and schedules to accommodate the individual needs and abilities of each child. Lesson plans are created on a weekly basis based upon observations made on the children by our qualified staff. With an open-door policy in place, we encourage our parents to be actively involved in the care of their children while here at LMG. Parents are welcomed to volunteer, make classroom observation visits, and participate in parent-teacher conferences and family involvement activities throughout the year.
